Private Skippered Charter
|
The advantages of having your own 40
foot boat and R.Y.A. skipper are:
-
You have the undivided attention
of your instructor, allowing the skipper to spend time
on your concerns and skills you need. This is particularly important
for individual taking the Coastal Skipper or Yachtmaster exam.
An intensive course that is maximised to its full potential
with expert one-to-one tuition.
-
Freedom to be adventurous.
Not having the restrictions of a mixed level sailing course.
Depending on experience we can sail to destinations further
a field in a more challenging environment.
-
Alternatively you can bring your
family and friends. We welcome guests of any age and
have had sailors as young as six years old complete our fun
"Trafalgar Pirate's certificate". In our experience,
children adapt to boat life very easily and are soon confident
to take the helm, learn knots and get involved. For those who
are not interested in doing the R.Y.A. course, you can enjoy
the trip at your own leisure, participating with helpful tips
from the skipper or just relax and enjoy the sun.
-
Plans to buy a boat? Why
not train your future crew with a charter and go cruising. Learn
the necessary skills, moulding your efforts towards a great
confident team.
-
You will know who you are sailing
with. Although we do our utmost to place groups together
of a similar age and interest, we cannot guarantee you will
have the same point of view as the next person. With a charter,
your passions and interests are shared.

"Thank you and your colleagues for all the efforts you have put in to have created
and run such a very pleasant sailing course.
My wife Vikki wasn't too sure about sailing beforehand, but she's been re-assured
and inspired enough to have booked us both on day skipper shore training, so it's
looking like we'll be doing more practical next year..."
Steven Barrett England
"The course was very good, Sean was very knowledgeable
and I learnt an awful lot from him during the week. He was flexible
and more or less let us decide what to do and where to go, giving
us guidance with his local knowledge.
