Jim Field Principal
"Our instructor, Jim Field, blew us away. He is a consummately
experienced sailor and instructor, and a very nice man. He put Pam
at ease immediately with his gentle, polite and very encouraging
style. By the end of the week, her abilities and confidence skyrocketed.
Under his untiring tutelage, my confidence to navigate, calculate
tides and currents, and manage crew have also grown".
Ken U.S.A.
"Many thanks to Jim for a great weeks sailing and expert
tuition, I now feel competent to sail my yacht, I set sail Sunday".

Keith Charlton Cheif Instructor
Keith, was most professional I have known (Have previously done Competent Crew with Sunsail, Day Skipper with Gael Sail, Coastal Skipper with York Cruising and the week previous to your course a "pre-pre-Yachtmaster week" with Sunsail).
Tim Buckley
"Keith approached things with plenty of patience and humour, and was clear and constructive in his teaching - both for us and for the boys. The feedback during the course as well as the de-brief at the end, was particularly useful".
Elizabeth Vessey U.K.
"The instructor was excellent - a very good instructor, was good at gearing towards the different levels and a fun guy too".
Joanna Vinall U.K.
"Keith was a major part in the success of the experience with my family. Vanessa's main concern was the safety of the children. From the time that Keith started the course with the safety briefing to the end of the course, we didn't feel that the kids were in any more danger than they are in the high street" .

Nick Collie
"We all just wanted to say a huge thank you for organising us such a wonderful week's sailing in Gibraltar - I think we all agreed it was one of the most hilarious weeks holiday we'd ever had and we are all keen for more very soon! Captain Roo (AKA Nick) was a hero and a massively patient instructor - we all felt we'd learnt loads from him in a really relaxed and fun way".
Jenn, Leila, Nadeera and Anna.U.K.
We feel we learned shed loads that week and has given us a great insight to sailing. We knew what we wanted or thought we did going forward and this has confirmed it. I will certainly be going for my day skipper and will be asking for Nick as my instuctor.
Eddie Clark U.K.
"Nick was very good, very knowledgable and a good laugh. He was very keen on safety and he made sure we all got a turn at all the practice. Ten out of ten".

Kevin Williams
Kevin was excellent. Can't praise him highly enough. The perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism.
Jane Cooper England
Kevin is a first class trainer and a credit to your organisation. Clearly he is a very competent sailor but his ability to keep the crew working at just the right level over the duration of the course, to inspire confidence and to make the whole process such a pleasure was exceptional.

Pete Galtress
"Pete was a brilliant instructor - kind, patient and courteous. We all learnt loads - and had a lot of laughs as well it must be said !
So all in all a really good week which flew by and I am now ready to give up work and sail into the sunset with my husband which may be more than he bargained for when booking this up for me!".
Gillian Smith U.K.
"Pete was an excellent instructor. He combined his knowledge, interpersonal skills, patience and communication skills to make the course thoroughly enjoyable as well as educational".

Jonny Reveley (left) & Dave Latham (right)
"Dave has been the most professional and competent sailing instructor I ever had".
Katarina Lindbergh. Slovakia
Our instructor Dave was totally excellent. He was extremely thorough and never seemed to get flustered when faced with many of our questions from beginners. I felt he was always available and really ‘taught' us how to sail, not just instructed us.

Jan Willem Flierman
" I especially wanted to comment on Jan, who I consider to be an exceptional teacher, demonstrating infinite patience and good judgement and a contagious passion to do things properly. He created a relaxed, fun and enjoyable atmosphere whilst demanding the highest standards from our relative abilities. I find it difficult to imagine a better introduction to sailing".
Sean U.K.
"Jan Willem is the sort of instructor you'd be willing to travel a great distance to be instructed by. As a result of his outstanding tutelage I feel entirely confident in handling yachts on open water".

Mike Mc Nulty
" We want to say very many thanks to you and Trafalgar – we had an absolutely great time. Mike was a marvellous skipper and teacher – he gave us a great sense of being in the hands of someone really competent in all that we did. For example, under his watchful eye, there was no sense of doubt as I backed 40 feet of expensive GRP to within 6 inches of a solid concrete quay – with no fender on the back, that anything would go wrong!"
Professor Peter Friedman U.K.
"Mike: What a star - full of helpful tips and advice, wrapped up in a friendly manner. He balanced the different needs of the crew and provided authority bred from experience."
Tim Harries U.K
