Children from 12 years can do the RYA Competent crew sailing course and the younger ones get a “Trafalgar Sailing Pirate Certificate” which is just a bit of fun that gets the kids involved in the everyday life living onboard a boat. We give the little ones a Trafalgar Sailing monkey to play with and there is a DVD player for watching cartoons in the evenings. Parents and friends can do an R.Y.A. course during the charter as your Skipper is an R.Y.A. Yachtmaster.

Special care is taken to ensure everyone’s safety at all times. Onshore activities in Gibraltar could include a visit to the apes den and Moorish castle to look for other pirates. Over in Spain and Morocco there are some great beaches and places for kids to play. Unlike the UK restaurants in Spain and Gibraltar welcome children but if you want a night out on your own we can arrange a babysitter. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and the yacht is on a private skippered chartered basis.
